TRANSTELEPHONIC PACEMAKER MONITORING

CardioLink Corporation supplies you with state-of-the-art trans-telephonic pacemaker equipment, patient instructional materials, toll free 800 "hotline" number, and 24-hour services.

Our Pacemaker Monitors are compact, self-contained, and are hands free systems designed for patients who have difficulty holding the telephone steady during a transmission. Patients simply call our Receiving Centers and, on instruction from a Cardiac Technician, place the phone into a "built-in" cradle. This transmits the pacemaker pulse strip to CardioLink for an analysis.

 Our Cardiac Technicians handle all incoming calls and generate reports in a quick and timely fashion. Verbal reports on any detected pacemaker malfunction are provided immediately via phone/fax. All of our reports are clear, concise, and double checked for accuracy on a regular basis. (E-mail reports available upon request).

 CardioLink Corporation is able to test the overall functions of pacemakers via telephone, at any time. Our Cardiac Technicians check the pacemaker battery status, proper pacemaker function (sensing and capture), the patient's health status, and take pulse width measurements to determine the "End of Life" of the pacemaker.

We also contact our pacemaker patients for follow-up tests. These follow-ups are scheduled according to patient availability and are recorded into our computer system to allow for easy tracking.
