Q. How can I get more supplies?

A. CardioLink can mail supplies to you or you can visit CardioLink's Levittown Facility to pick them up.  Please contact CardioLink's Technical Department prior to your running out of supplies.

Q. What do you do with the recordings you get from the cardiac monitor that I am wearing?

A. Once a CardioLink Technician receives a recording it is reviewed for abnormalities.  The report is then generated by technicians and then faxed, emailed or mailed to your physician for diagnosis. 

Q. The lights on my cardiac monitor are flashing; what does that mean?

A. The monitor comes with instructions.  If you need clarification or the information is not clear please call CardioLink's toll free 800 number to speak with a Technician.

Q. Why do you ask me questions about my cross street?

A. CardioLink requests this information from you for emergency purposes.  In the event of an emergency, CardioLink technicians need to provide an accurate location for the emergency responders (ambulance).

Q. Can I take a shower with a cardiac monitor still attached?

A. No, Cardiac Monitors must never get wet. 

Q. I am taking a trip on an airplane, should I wear the monitor?

A. No.  CardioLink suggests that you pack your monitor within your carry-on luggage and do not wear it on the airplane.  Regardless of how you travel, please contact a Technician prior to starting your monitoring period and/or leaving on vacation.  If you have any questions regarding your cardiac monitor please call CardioLink's toll free 800 number to speak with a Technician. 

Q. What is the difference if I use a machine with or without wires?
